Appalachian State Football upsets the Wolverines

What a day in college football and sure to be a long and stressful night for the players and coaches of Michigan Wolverines. The Appalachian State football has gone into history as one of the greatest upsets in college football history. With a 34-32 victory they have eliminated any chances that number 5 rated Michigan had at a title shot. I would hate to be the next team that the Mountaineers face next week as they will surely be riding the high of this monumental game. There were a lot of great college games played today including the Pac 10 match up that pitted Tennessee football against the Cal Bears. Cal ended up winning 45-31. There were a lot of close games for the top 10 teams that could have proven to be wild and wacky weekend for college football.
