The health of the big box stores

Posted by Jeff R On May - 29 - 2009ADD COMMENTS

With the recent closure of Circuit City stores there has left a big gap to fill for those that are looking for TV’s, computers, and other electronics. We just received an email that the company that bought out the Circuit City name and inventory to liquidate is now going to re-open their website with the name and brand intact. This is an interesting development and we are not sure what to make of this development yet. We do know that online sites like buy.com have stepped up their offerings and have a long solid history of providing top quality products with great service. As to the health of the big box stores there may be a few more looking to enhance their online presence in order to stay competitive in this challenging market.

KettleWorx training

Posted by Jeff R On May - 25 - 20095 COMMENTS

kettlebell_10I was recently introduced to a new workout system called KettleWorx where they use various exercises and a Kettlebell for resistance and training. I received my total setup which consisted of a 10 lb. Kettlebell, an Intro DVD, 3 core workout DVDs that contain 6 different workouts on each, 2 10 Minute work outs that help with Abs and fat burn and 4 additional DVDs to help shape other areas of the body. There is also a great 6 week guide that you can print out out to help you eat healthier and keep track of your progress. One of the main reasons that I was attracted to the KettleWorx program is that they set up the workouts so that they are only 20 minutes, three times a week. With the use of the Kettlebell you are able to work out every major muscle group in your body during each work out and believe me you can feel it.

I am currently in my second week and will be posting about my success over the next 6 weeks to help update our readers on what this system can accomplish. After completing the first series of workouts the results that I have seen so far is increased strength and energy throughout the day. Ryan Shanahan who is the creator of KettleWorx and a personal trainer has designed the workouts so that they are continuous and very engaging. There are different varieties of workouts and movements so that you are never thinking about what is coming next and before you know it you are done and working up a great sweat and burning some major calories. I have done so well during my first two weeks that I have had some of my friends and relatives ask what I have been doing. I have explained to them about the work out and how simple and yet challenging it is. I have stayed as close to the recommended meal plans possible and really cut down on the sugars and carbs that I use to consume on a daily basis and this is starting to pay off. I have never been this committed to a work out plan before and look forward to each workout. So stay tuned for my updates and progress checks on my 6 week journey to a better, healthier body.

Also stay tuned as we introduce our contest “Find the Kettlebell” for some fun prizes. More details to come!!!!

Here are all the items that we received that you can purchase on their website which is the best value:

KettleWorx Ultra starts with the “Six Week Body Transformation” – an easy, step-by-step program that guides you through six weeks of personal training. 4 DVDs: Intro, Cardio, Core, Resistance.

Starting a healthy business

To be successful in starting your business their are three words that are essential. Location. Location. Location.. At least this is what they taught us in business school a few years back and for the most part it still holds true. Today you have the internet and the vast marketplace that it offers if you still have a brick and mortar location you want to make sure that you can capture the sale and seamlessly keep track of your inventory and costs. That is why investing in a good POS systems can help you manage cost and provide better customer service. This is true because you can see what levels of inventory you have and which products are the most profitable. And since many of these systems are driven by a PC having them connected to your online store and integrated can be a key to a healthy start to a business.

A new diet supplement review

Posted by Jeff R On May - 22 - 20091 COMMENT

We were recently trying to find some data on health and weight loss tips and we came across a newer weight loss supplement called Nuphedra. At first I thought that this was a knock of some of the more traditional ephedra products that have some safety concerns. In the nuphedra reviews it talks about the fact right up front that there is no ephedra in this pill. The reason for the name is that the pill is supposed to produce the weight loss effects touted with ephedra without the harmful adverse events. The site has an extensive review of the product and all of its ingredients which appear to be quite good and safe. There are ton of facts out there so we always encourage our readers to research anything before they make a purchase.

Getting away to Vegas

Posted by Jeff R On May - 18 - 2009ADD COMMENTS

In an effort to get away for a few days my wife and I are looking to take a weekend trip to Las vegas. My wife has been researching Las Vegas hotels online and right now seems to be a great time to visit Vegas. The days of travel that are least expensive are Tuesday through Saturday. We found that in both the hotels and and flights that there is about a $200 total savings when looking to travel on these days so we are now narrowing down our search to which of the properties we want to stay at. Hopefully we be making our trip in mid-June and having a nice relaxing trip.

finding treatment for your skin

This is actually not the case and there are many acne treatments now that have come onto the market that treat acne very effectively without drying out your skin.
