Getting pain relief for your muscles

Posted by Jeff R On August - 10 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

We were watching an update on fitness programs and one of the interesting things that they pointed is that you do not have to work out for hours everyday in order to get the maximum benefit. They talked about interval training 2-3 times a week where you work out for 20 minutes a day but at a more strenuous pace. If you work out regularly then you are probably no stranger to muscle aches and pains after your workout. There are several ways to help you reduce the recovery time. Stretching before and after your exercise is one of the most simple and easiest ways to help reduce muscle pain and fatigue if you work out on a regular basis. Also using a solution like the  LG-TEC Dual Combo TENS Unit and Muscle Stimulator which is offered by LGMedSupply can help in reducing the pain and helping in recovery. LGMedSupply is one of the only authorized providers of the TENS Units, Muscle Stimulators, so make sure that you do not fall for the imitators.

You can check out other items that offer to help you with your chronic pain issues without medication.  Visit LGMedSupply Online and you can see their complete line of products that they offer along with a great description of what each product can do for you and your particular situation.  You can gain additional information and find out what others are saying at their  online customer blog.

Getting your pool in shape

Posted by Jeff R On July - 27 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

We are in the middle of Summer and the weather is really nice where we live and people are outside enjoying the weather. Those fortunate to have a pool in their backyard have a great advantage of just being able to step out the back door and be in a cool refreshing environment. While they are great buying and keeping the swimming pool supplies on hand can be a chore to keep the pool in good shape during the Summer. We have friends who own a pool and they are out several times a week putting in chemicals and cleaning the pool in order to keep it from getting dirty. So enjoy your Summer and remember to thank your friends if they invite you over for a swim.

Roof restoration in the process

Posted by Jeff R On July - 2 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

If you own a home then you know that having a solid roof overhead to help protect against the elements is crucial. There are various types of roofing surfaces. The area of the country that you live in will dictate what style and type of roof you may have. If your roof has suffered some damage due to wind or rain many people will look online to find roof restoration or repair ideas. While this may save you a few bucks keep in mind that what might look like a simple repair such as repointing a tiled roof can turn into a major project. Simply repairing the cracks with mortar may only be a quick fix that is simply covering up a larger issue. Look to enlist the help of a professional to help protect one of your biggest investments and know that the job will be done right.

The touch less faucet

Posted by Jeff R On July - 1 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

Have you noticed that most restrooms are now equipped with the touch less faucets. The idea is to help stop the spread of germs which is tough to say if they are helping. I do know that many makers like Grohe faucets who specialize in residential installations should be looking to implement this technology in homes. I have seen some commercials where you can now have this type of technology in the home which makes sense especially when you or the kids are sick that is one less thing you have to worry about spreading the germs.

Protecting your home

Home Security is a 24 hour job for the family members living at the home, any neighborhood watch groups that might be present, and for the security companies that may help protect your home. You want to be protected at all times and this is one of the big benefits of having a home monitoring system. Now going back to those signs and thinking like a criminal, you would figure in most cases they drive around looking for a home that looks like no one is there. Having a driveway alarm can help deter those that want to try and enter your home. Your home could be a good target if there really isn’t anyone at home and you don’t have an extra vehicle sitting in the driveway. If you had one of those security signs in the yard; then chances are they would keep driving past your home.

Many physician offices are now fully integrated with electronic medical records and this has helped to reduce paperwork and allow patients to have more control over their own records. This is why netbooks like the Acer Aspire may be a better investment for most people who work in the health care industry. Because the netbooks are much more portable than a standard laptop and they can offer a good size memory and wireless connectivity bringing your netbook to your next appt will be in the near future.

The most recent tragic accident of the off shore oil rig that claimed the lives of 11 people reminds us that drilling for oil is not a safe or easy task. Everyday there are thousands of individuals across the world working on oil rigs and drilling platforms where they are dealing with highly combustible materials and having the right equipment and safety training is the number on priority on all rigs. In the event there is a unforeseen accident you may want to consult a Gulf Coast Jones Act attorney that can understand the laws of the trade and what specifically your rights are. electronic records

Posted by Jeff R On April - 20 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

Many offices in the health care industry are going to electronic records in order to better manage their patients. With the requirement by the federal government to have all medical records available in e-form the question being tackled is what to do with all the paper documents and files that offices have now. Many have set up whole departments and use document scanning software to help convert their patient charts to electronic medical records. While this process can be quite cumbersome the overall benefit to the patient will allow them to easily transfer and manage their own health records.

Going Micro

Posted by Jeff R On April - 12 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

Have you noticed that things we use daily are shrinking. Laptops, cellphones, and even MP3 players. The reason we like micro is because it means smaller and the easier it is to carry around or pack in our luggage sets, is the more we like it. Technology has played a big role for this growing industry and we keep learning how to store more information on smaller surfaces. I think this is good for the most part, but the smaller we keep going, is going to make it that much harder to find our micros when we lose or misplace them. I’m all for technology and smaller is better in many ways, but let’s just keep our eyes open for the bigger things too!
