Plan your vacation early

There are so many things that you can do while in Orlando. The main attraction is DisneyWorld, but our family has really enjoyed the other parks like Epcot. While at Ecpot you can experience other worlds and cultures and even fly in space. One we pulled the kids away from Mickey and the Magic kingdom they wanted to use our last to go to Epcot because they had so much fun.The key is to explore each individual country and not just wonder down the main path. This is how we found the flume ride in Germany and the kids loved the boat ride. So plan your Orlando vacations now to make sure that you get the best deals before the prices go up and secure your time at the Magic Kingdom.

Vacation is healthy

When I was younger I remember spending summer months in South Padre Island fishing and surfing. The Gulf Of Mexico was warm and the weather was always perfect no matter what time of the summer we were down on the beach. It is far different than the West coast where we live along the Oregon coast. The island and the whole Texas Gulf area has grown up and changes a lot over the years and there are now properties for sale and rent. Texas Gulf coast waterfront property can be found online to find homes for sale. Finding a vacation home to buy or rent can be a great investment and one that you can enjoy for years to come with your family and friends.

Vacation somewhere warm

April 6th, 2008 -- Posted in Vacation | No Comments »

Millions of people vacation in Arizona every year because of the great year round climate. There are so many things to see and do and it does not matter what time of season you elect to head down there. There is the Grand Canyon and all it’s majesty. We have flown over the Grand Canyon and it is really hard to grasp just how big and deep the canyon really is. Sedona is another great place to visit and it is one of the most photographed locations in all of Arizona. If you have seen the photos of the large red clay rocks that reach into the sky then you have most likely seen Sedona. So be sure to pack your Delsey luggage with your shorts and bathing suit and get ready to enjoy some great weather and memorable times.

Staying in Branson

March 22nd, 2008 -- Posted in Vacation | No Comments »

This years vacation will be either in California or in the midwest. We have been researching locations like Branson condos for places to stay. Branson is great because of the unique entertainment that they have to offer and plus the fact that we have never been. I am probably most interested in the Titanic landmark attraction. No they didn’t bring up the actual ship, but a very realistic replica located in Branson of all places. I have been intrigued with history, especially as it relates to maritime mis-haps and what could have been done differently to avoid such tragedy’s. Looks like we might be headed to Missouri.

Stressed about your home

February 27th, 2008 -- Posted in Vacation | No Comments »

There are thousands of Americans that are finding themselves under stress based on the weekly news of the mortgage and housing market going south. There are various parts of the country that are harder hit than others like in Florida where the market was oversold and the housing market is now feeling the effects. Now is the time to find bargains as rates are dipping down thanks to the fed cutting the rates allowing home buyers to lock in at a better rate. Do yourself a favor and help to keep  your stress low can be accomplished by looking for property and homes near the coast line like in the Corpus Christi real estate market. This is a beautiful area and one that I have visited when we lived in Texas. The Gulf of Mexico provides warm currents and the city is located close to Houston for all the big city amenities.

Vacation time

February 11th, 2008 -- Posted in Vacation | No Comments »

Spring is here and now is the time to start your summer vacation plans. Many of us will head somewhere warm and a place that offers something for everyone in the family. A Florida vacation is a popular theme since you have Disneyworld and miles of beaches if theme parks are not in your plans. If you are traveling with extended family I would highly recommend looking at Condo Hotels as they can be less expensive than hotels or other provide all the comforts of home. Plus you get all the comforts you would have at home without all the hassles.

Exhanging your vows

December 5th, 2007 -- Posted in Vacation | No Comments »

My wife and I were fortunate enough to be able to spend our 3 year wedding anniversary in Maui. When we were over there we did not realize all the Maui Weddings that take place, as it seemed that every day we saw a bride and groom, heading out to the beach to exchange vows. There is something about the tropical wedding flowers that you saw at these ceremonies that it made sense for us to renew our vows while on the island. The time we spent on the island was so relaxing and the people over there were extremely nice and accommodating. We are going to try and make this more of a regular trip to get over to Hawaii.

Relax and improve your health by taking a cruise

October 17th, 2007 -- Posted in Vacation | No Comments »

cruise for yor health

We recently put together a cruise vacation which is the first time that my wife and I have been on such a vacation. We have always heard that cruises are a great way to vacation since you get to see multiple countries, and there is a great variety of food and activities on the ship. We are looking forward to setting sail on our first ocean voyage and hope that it will be everything that we have heard and read about. I am looking forward to the beautiful islands of the Bahamas and visiting the various port cities and experiencing their culture.

Vacation in Orlando

September 17th, 2007 -- Posted in Vacation | No Comments »

When we have traveled to Orlando for vacation we have stayed at some of the properties at Disney World and hotels off site. One of the best locations that we have found are rental homes in the Orlando vicinity. These are fully furnished homes that even have pools that you can rent for the week and they are great since they can accommodate more people. You can find your Orlando rental home online and even book your vacation while checking out the homes. These are great for families traveling together and can be much more relaxing than a hotel.

Don’t be fooled by the tourist traps of Orlando and California. There are so many wonderful places in the US that the entire family can enjoy. Many people on the east coast will head to the Outer Banks as it offers a great setting next to the ocean.

Central Florida and Orlando

Can you picture the days of cattle rustling, gun fights, gambling and other evening pursuits. This used to be the scene when Central Florida was first discovered and they have a rich history for those who would look to venture outside of the theme parks. Residents of Central Florida some of the best climate in the US. They have access to  lakes and water sports and nightlife that can appeal to even the hippest urbanite.
