keeping your pool clean

Posted by Jeff R On May - 27 - 2010

It takes a lot of effort to get your pool set up each year. It doesn’t take a lot of maintenance keeping your pool up, once you do fill it with water for the year. Filling the pool up with water is actually the fun part and you know most of the work is done when you get to turn on the water hose for a couple of days. To properly take care of your pool you need to scrub all the stuff that has built up on the floor of the pool and the sides of the pool. This greenish brown looking mold does come up pretty easy with a chemical and a little elbow grease. If you have a pretty good size pool; then you will need to scrub down the majority of it by hand and make sure to install very good pool filters. Making sure you have all the right chemicals in stock can be a chore too and some pools will use 7 or 8 different things you have to pick up at the supply store.
