Research Healthy

Companies do market research for many reasons. Some do research to understand a new market place, new brand message, or desired product attributes. The key to most research is that while most of it is good it needs to be distilled down to a level in which front line managers and sales people can execute on the information. I have seen huge presentations where they explore every angle of a customers product preference but yet they cannot scale that down to 2-3 tangible items that can be used in the field where it will have the most impact. So make your messages clear, test them, and then execute 100% and provide clear concise direction to those who have to implement the research.
