We have had the great experience of living on both the West and East coasts and have met some great friends in both places. While we are currently located in Washington State the idea of moving back East has been on the agenda for quite some time. When first made the move we researched long distance moving companies that would be able to come in and pack up our house and then store the goods while we were looking for a new place to live. All in all the experience went very well and we do not have any horror stories to share about our stuff getting busted up or losing some of our possessions. The one piece of advice that I can give anyone about a long distance move is to explore all the places that are close by and be a tourist in our own area because you never know when you may move again and you do not want to miss the opportunity to visit some of the great places that this country has to offer.
