We were looking at some of the newer offerings from CariD around their led tail lights and the comparable safety and function as compared to regular headlights. There are no specific studies or recommendations that we could find other than some specific facts. Since LED tend to burn brighter and longer you could have less of a chance of failure. The LED lights themselves have a different look to them and could gain your attention faster if you see them on the car in front of you. I know that we have certainly noticed LED lights on cars and they definitely gain your attention.
