My favorite driver is Jeff Gordon and I hope he can repeat the season he had last year. He really was dominating the field all season long and Jimmy Johnson just found the rabbit’s foot for those final 10 races of the year. The sponsorships for this sport have grown enormously over the years with companies like McDonalds, Mopar performance parts, and AFLAC to name a few who are enhancing their brand awareness. This is Nascar’s version of the playoffs in stock car racing. I look forward to seeing who will be the top 12 drivers this year that makes it into the playoffs this year. Nascar is a long season, but if you don’t come out of the gates strong, you can quickly find your self catching up to some of the best race car drivers in the world. So sit back on those Sunday afternoons and watch the boys from Nascar whip those cars around the track like it was nothing. Be sure to let me know who your favorite driver is and who you think has the best shot at winning it all in 2010!
