Breakfast the most important meal of the day

More people who are trying to loose weight will usually skip breakfast and then go through lunch on a smaller portion for their lunch. What people are forgetting is that breakfast is very important meal and can actually help you to maintain your metabolism that is needed to help burn those calories. Plus you will have more energy through out the morning and day and need to rely less on caffeine, and other snacks along the way.

One great breakfast that is high in protein and low in carbs is the traditional bacon and eggs meal. Now I know most of you are saying but all that grease cannot be good for you . If you cook like my parents did in an iron skillet then maybe you are taking on added fat that can be avoided. This is where the microwave bacon cooker which is the only “totally enclosed unit” to be known on the market today. We received one a few days ago and it is so simple and easy to use. Because of the way bacon strips are separated from the grease you drain all the extra grease away and you are left with crisp bacon. It is super easy to clean and you avoid the grease splatters that can be a huge hassle to clean up. You can even use this before you go off to work since it is self contained and the mess is minimal.  So don’t skip breakfast and do what your mother has always told you and don’t skip your breakfast.
