Some of the best times I had when I was a kid was going camping with friends and my scout pack. We would gather our camping gear and head to the hills in New Mexico and then fish and cook by the campfire. No matter how prepared we were there always seemed to be one item that we were missing. There was one time we went up camping during spring break thinking that the weather would be similar to home. When we arrived the weather was nice and in the low 60’s and all we had were shorts and sweatshirts. That night a the temperature dropped and we were covered in snow and thought we were going to freeze to death. I was never so glad to pack my tent the morning and get home.
