I am loving all the Christmas specials coming on my direct tv right now! It is totally getting me in the Christmas spirit! The other night we watched Elf as we decorated the Christmas tree! That is becoming a classic movie to our family. My son’s favorite part is watching Will Farrell eat all of the nasty things he eats in that movie. Spaghetti noodles drenched in syrup for breakfast seem to make my son crack up! Every time we watch that part, he begs me to let him try that for breakfast sometime. Thankfully he never remembers his request in the morning! We have been watching a Christmas movie every night after dinner. It is so cozy cuddling on the couch with the lights on the tree. Of course we will keep our tradition and save ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ to watch on Christmas Eve! I don’t think I have missed a year of watching that movie on Christmas Eve. I am usually cuddled with my family, all wearing our new pajamas, and baking cookies for Santa! I love this time of year.

My father is the smartest man I know but when it comes to technology he’s got to be one of the thickest. He just has a really hard time understanding the concepts behind a lot of stuff and although I get it, I sometimes wish that he would try a little harder to understand. I just don’t get why he doesn’t take notes and write stuff down to save us both the hassle but my dad’s never been the kind to do anything the easy way. If I had a question about math or philosophy or even geography you know I’d be going straight to him but if it was something at all technologically inclined? Forget it! I’d be better off asking the dog in my living room about it!
