Renowned as a superlative fighting dog in days of old, the Mastiff accompanied the knights into battle, they were used in packs to help hunt  deer and wolf. The Masitffs  massive size, he consumes a large amount of food, but although his feeding needs are considerable. He does, however, require a large yard and regular exercise. You will need to take extra care in warmer climates as they are prone to heatstroke. These types of dogs require a lot of attention and room. They can grow to be quite large in size, and are generally good with kids if they are brought into the family as puppies.
