Invitation to health
We received several invitations this past week to participate in cancer awareness events. Since October is National Breast Cancer month you have probably seen the pink ribbons, or the pink themed items that have been for sale. The invitations were to different galas that were to help raise money for local breast cancer chapters to help fund mammograms for those who cannot afford them. We have made such great strides in the early detection of breast and other forms of cancer that more people stand a better chance of survival than in years past.
